Chelsea shocked Tottenham Hotspur with a 1-0 victory on thursday night making it chelsea second victory under their new boss Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea made one change from the win over Burnley, Reece James replacing Tammy Abraham while Serge Aurier, Eric Dier and Carlos Vinicius all started for Tottenham.
Chelsea scored the only goal in the match through a perfectly taken penalty by Jorginho after Werner was brought down from a ball challenge with Dier in the area.
The Blues made a change ten minutes to halftime as Andreas Christensen was sub-in for Thiago Silva, who couldn’t continue playing after due to injury.
Werner went close from a ball behind the defence minutes later, but saw the chance cleared before Marco Alonso made another attempt which went close range over the top post.
Matteo Kovacic went wide with a low shot whilst Mason Mount also snap-shot forced Hugo Lloris to an outstretched save.
