Lots of Munitions were Stolen in Lagos During EndSars Protest



A committee set up to investigate the damages done to the Nigerian police during the EndSars protest says nearly 100 Ak-47 rifles were stolen.


The chairman of the committee, CP Yaro Abutu, told the Punch newspaper on Saturday that in addition, 2,600 rounds of ammunition were also stolen during the violence as a result of the protests.

He also stated that 37 police stations where been attacked and burnt to destruction, with total number of 367 vehicles destroyed, including 10 silk cars.


“We are taking investigating around the 17 states where burning of police facilities and killing of police personnel has happened, “Thirty-seven police stations were attacked in Lagos and about 30 percent of the police infrastructure in the state has been in shambles.” He said
