Kanye West partners Nigerian designer on his debut “yeezy gap”

American rapper, Kanye West, announces partnership with Nigerian designer Mowalola Ogunlesi the designer for ‘Yeezy Gap’.

Ogunlesi also shared the news on her Instagram page.

According to Yahoo, the 25-year-old designer who moved from Nigeria to England at the age of 12, graduated from Central Saint Martins three years ago.

Mowalola is responsible for Naomi Campbell’s white halterneck gown, which reveal a symbolic gunshot wound, that she wore in this past London Fashion Week.

Ogunlesi worked with Nike on Nigeria World Cup kit launch and Grammy-winning rapper, Drake had been spotted wearing a custom Mowalola jacket.


Kanye announced his multi-year Yeezy deal,using the hashtag #WESTDAYEVER on Twitter
Which apparently is the logo for the upcoming line set to launch in 2021.
